Castle Homes will make every attempt to meet the targeted delivery date of a home, but remember that the completion and closing date is always approximate. We want to make sure the home is built correctly and there are several things that might slow down production such as:

Closing Process

Weather delay on constructing the foundation ( which then affects framing, roofing and exterior finish
Shortages in material and labor
Customer delays in responding to lender requests
Changes (when allowed) submitted after the original Purchase Agreement
Castle Homes recognizes that planning a move and its timing are very important. If there are any changes in the closing date, we notified you as soon as possible so that any adjustments may be made accordingly.

Date of Closing

The closing will take place shortly after the completion of the home and the XXXX meeting (walkthrough???). Your Sales Consultant will coordinate the exact date with you, the mortgage company, realtor and the Title Company or closing attorney. Typically, you will have at least three to five day’s notice.

Location of Closing

The closing takes place at the title company. The Sales Consultant will coordinate setting the date and time of the closing.

Possession (Have you ever had this problem?)

Your Sales Consultant will coordinate the delivery of the keys to your Dream Home upon confirmation of “funding” from the closing. In the event a closing is held late in the day, it is sometimes not funded until the following day. Your keys will be delivered upon funding.

Bring these items to closing

• A cashier’s check or certified funds to the closing table. And, as usual, utility service should be scheduled
• All current contact/phone number
• Email address – if updated
• Your driver’s license (closing attorney requirement)
• Your calendar for the next 30 days as we will be scheduling your 30 day follow-up meeting
• At your closing, you will receive:
• A Certificate of Occupancy
• Termite Bond Letter with optional information on initiating you pest control system
• Contractor Emergency contact phone numbers
• Referral Program Information
• 30 Day Service Order
• Your Limited warranty Manual – if you would like to keep all your documents in one place!
