As you undoubtedly know, purchasing a “retirement home” can be one of the most painstaking experiences a family goes through during their lifetime. Where do we retire? How big a house do we purchase? Is the school system and community above average and safe, respectively? Did we choose the right builder?
The last problem we need is to have to worry about whether the builder of our home is anything less than an honorable individual presiding over professional and moral employees. The Spann family has enjoyed our relationship thus far with the Castle Homes family, and we look forward to even better relations in the future. We would like to acknowledge four individuals in the Castle Homes Family that have been instrumental in facilitating our transition from New Jersey to Georgia. They are Delores Jones, Floyd Lance, Alan Laudermilk and James Laudermilk.
James Laudermilk has been our Castle Homes family contact, and he has alleviated much anxiety throughout our home buying process by working with and around our schedule as we made the permanent move from New Jersey to Georgia. He has been a man of his word and this in itself is reassuring because when he says, “he will take care of it”, you can trust what he says. It does not get any simpler than this.
Our first contact with the Castle Homes family was with Delores Jones who went out of her way to show us several models. Any paid company Sales Agent shows the available model homes, but she went far beyond the call of duty and toured some homes with us and was just an inviting and warm individual throughout the process. Even when the Spann family hesitated on a particular model during the process, she was still a warm, understanding professional. We always had the feeling that we must have known Ms. Jones for a much longer period of time. We felt connected to her and built a trust for the Castle Homes family.
Floyd Lance was the busy builder and President of Castle Homes but worked with us through Delores Jones in making sure that he gave the Spann family the time to make sure that our home was going to be what we wanted. He also allowed us to “pick his brain” and benefit from his vast knowledge of the construction world, offering us his suggestions as we walked from room to room throughout the house. He went out of his way during our walkthrough to accommodate us as we were trying customize our home, and we thanked him for that. He was very professional and made us feel good about the Castle Home family.
Alan Laudermilk was and continues to be the “worker bee”. If he can do it, he will take care of it. He is always a professional and never comes to the house in a foul mood. With the myriad of questions and concerns involving a new home, he is both respectful and giving of himself, making sure that the homeowner’s inquiries are answered and followed up. He is a walking advertisement and an ideal company representative.
You only have your good name in ‘Business’. The Castle Homes family has promised us, the Spann family, a good product…Our Home. For this we are grateful and trust that the relationship between the Spann family and the Castle Homes family continues to grow.
